If you love food, wine and the arts as much as we do, book now for Chef Meets BC Grape – next Thursday, Sept. 15th – at Vancouver Convention Centre when we'll be defending our 2015 title for: Best Pairing (food/wine).
 
It's all about raising funding for the Arts Club Theatre Company, and with 90 wineries pouring over 350 award-winning BC wines, it's a show-stopper.

OK, so we're typically kinda humble, but the kudos from Daily Hive has us doing high-fives!
 
From Best Patios in Downtown Vancouver and Best Patios for Brunch, to being included in the 9 Places for Buck-A-Shuck Oysters, we're loving the accolades from this go-to website that's all about city culture.
 
And with descriptors like "pretty damn spectacular," we're downright blushing.

While it's true we're seeing whispers of fall in Vancouver, it's still officially summer until September 22nd. 

So soak it up people!
 
September is also prime watermelon season in BC, so in the interest of all-things-fresh at LIFT, you've gotta try our Summer Salad with a spotlight on this succulent fruit.
 
From arugula, watermelon and goats cheese, to fava beans and grilled lemons, it's as spectacular as it looks.
 
We suggest pairing it with Terravista Vineyards Fandango - a festive blend of two white grapes: Albarino and Verdejo. The only wine of with these two grapes produced in Canada, it’s homegrown on Naramata Bench and perfect with this salad.

Tasting notes from the Winemaker, Senka Tennant: 

Brisk and attractive aromas of succulent apricots, white peach fuzz with hints of red apple, ripe cantaloupe and pink gooseberry flavours.
